Redstate has an article posted giving a review of the 8 new Democrat governors and 11 re-elected Democrat governors from the 2006 election in regards to taxes.  Oh, and one Republican thrown in for good measure. The result? Jodi Rell (Republican, Connecticut) is proposing an incredible 10% increase in the state income tax.  Despite this, other Republicans in the state  appear to be overall pleased with the Republican governor, one congressman saying, "We're very proud of the governor. We didn't think it was necessary to raise taxes, that's all." Re-elected Brad Henry (Democrat, Oklahoma) is one of only three who made it on the "Good Guys"

Well, my 2 year old router finally bit the dust (I believe it was a Linksys BEFW11S4).  I spent all of $10 on it, so I'm not too upset. So I went out and bought a new one, Buffalo WHR-G54S.  The firmware seems to suck (I didn't play with it much).  At best, the firmware web access is *ugly*.  Being the bit of a geek that I am, I just *had* to install dd-wrt v23 SP2, a free third-party router OS, on it. I really like the firmware, it works perfectly.  Oh, and it's nice to be able to SSH or telnet into my *router*. :-)
